It took me a minute to read this book, I think the content at its core is important for all women to know and understand, but the writing style wasn’t really my jam. There were tons of metaphors that almost made the information more confusing to me. Like I said, important information but I wasn’t super hooked throughout.

I learned several new things, I unlearned some myths, and I rethought some beliefs I was taught are best. But mostly, I feel more confident. My intuition already knew a lot of what Emily teaches, but knowing for fact what is true makes me feel more confident. I’m better able to communicate about sex now, and less likely to be misled by false messages from culture. I want everyone I know to read this because there are MANY commonly held misconceptions out there, and they are often harmful, especially for women.
