I don’t not like this book, it just has the potential to be better. I don’t feel like I really connected with any of the characters. The beginning got me intrigued with how it kept bouncing back to Adele but then that all stopped.

I feel like Elin was not a believable detective. I understand she has PTSD, but was she really a good detective to begin with because I feel like she should have caught on sooner, I did. The reasoning behind the killings fell short for me.

All in all it was a good read but not a great read, like I was hoping.

It was atmospheric, which I enjoyed. Thought it was going to be chilling and thrilling, it wasn’t. Couldn’t connect with the characters at all.
