Fun book, and because I am a Mae Whitman fan, I look forward to the movie. Sometimes it was a little too "teen" for me, but that wasn't unexpected.

I loved it....couldn't but it down.

Really liked this book. Thought it was an honest look at teens, and how all teens feel in some way. I think everyone could relate to having felt like The Duff at some point in their life!
Was surprised to find out how young the author is. Looking forward to reading more of her books.

I first read this book around the time the movie came out - and I have to say once again that the movie did not do the book justice. I absolutely loved this book. I read so much that I don't end up keeping and rereading books after I am done, but this is an exception. I love how flawed all the characters are but especially the main character. It made her a character I felt I could relate to more than others I have read in the past. The clear path that you can see that all the characters took to growth was clear, easy to follow and made it hard to put down. I recently read it again and loved it just as much as the first time! Thank you Kody for writing such a captivating book with complex characters and inspiring me to try my hand at writing again!

A couple years ago I watched the Movie that is based off this book. Just recently I read the book, and I thought I had forgotten more in the movie than I thought. Once I finished the book, I rented the movie to watch it again.
I understand most books are better than the movie, but I can honestly say I liked them about the same. A lot of people woulnd agree, but I think they are so different they two different plots.

I enjoyed the personality of the characters. A lot of teen books will make the characters very 2 dimentional (kind of what the movie did). The book did a good job keeping them human. This book also has a nice sense of humor.

Review Pending!

I truly despise this love triangle, but I didn't find this nearly as repulsive as I thought I would. problematic, but not repulsive.

Yikes. And here I thought the movie had problems.

It might have been four stars if the narrator's voice wasn't so annoying
but the story itself was nice :)
Its very true to high school

Wow. This book was a huge let down. I wish I had been more careful on this one to read content reviews before starting it. No kidding, it's entirely about 2 teens who get through their hard times by having casual sex. (Of course the end is nice and tidy.)

I can't recommend this book to anyone. How sad that this is what we want our teens to believe about relationships and self worth.
