I cried two times reading this. I didn't expect that to happen, but I did, back to back.

this is one of the best books i have ever read.

3.5* so cute☹️

THIS WAS SOOO CUTE!!! Like Lara Jean level of cuteness...but with a little bit more sass and swearing.
It was the slowest slowburn I’ve ever read in my whole life, I swear. But the romance was done SO SO well! I never rooted for two people so much. It was just perfect. They were so perfect together and I loved how they got to know each other so well first, before anything really happened.
Also Gideon is like the most adorkable person ever. He was so caring and funny. Definitely book boyfriend material level 1000.

BUT! This book isn’t mainly focused on the romance.
It’s focus is way more on friendship and family. About finding new friends, learning to love and let yourself be loved again.
I absolutely loved the friendship, the existing and the new ones!
Iris is a true Slytherin queen and I felt so much for her. She’s basically my soulmate.
The sibling relationship is also very beautifully written, and the ending totally broke my heart.

I loved it and I need more Emma Mills in my life. So wholesome.

Refreshingly honest & cute contemporary about love, friendship, fandoms and Shakespeare. What more do you need really?😊

4.5 Stars — Any book that references HSM or Harry Potter is an automatic win for me. Add in sarcastic and totally lovable characters, theatre, and a gorgeous cover? Totally sold.

I read Foolish Hearts from last month’s @owlcrate yesterday and thought it was so cute and fun and adorable! I need me a Gideon.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD, SERIOUSLY. it’s so sweet but hilarious, and it’s so easy to love all of the characters. they’re all so realistic. also, the friendships made me so happy and sad at the same TIME (iris and claudia
