Why is Emma Mills the funniest person in the world?
Really it's 3 and a half stars. This was a cute, fun, quick read. I loved the slow building romance, and I understand that she felt she wasn't good enough. This wasn't something I'd pick up for myself, so I'm really surprised I enjoyed it this much. It actually made me laugh out loud around 10 times at least, which is very rare for me. Would actually read this again if I was in the mood for a quick, yet sweet and funny read. Also, this Owlcrate exclusive cover is to DIE for, and I love how the cover makes sense after I read it!!!
This book is beautiful and I laughed and cried and I just love it so much.
I am pretty sure that this is the first book where I *passionately* loved all the main and side characters.
The way that Claudia and Gideon gave butterflies especially Gideon, every time they interacted I squealed.

oh my god these characters are literally my favorite people we are like best friends i just love them all so much

This was everything I have ever wanted in a YA contemporary and I can't believe that I'd never heard of Mills before reading this? It's so very real and lovely and funny and warm and features the most adorable YA romance I've read in ages. The friendships and familial relationships in this book are also spot-on and truly touching.
