Big Nate is just being his own silly little guy. Learning some life lessons and dumping on PS 38.

Nate is in love with Teddy and Francis. Sorry, I don't make the rules. /hj

A decent 7th book of the series, however the Breckenridge/Nate conflict is resolved a little too quickly, in just one or two chapters. The writing, as usual, is written as though by an eleven year old, however Peirce manages to pull off a decent book, although he may be running out of ideas for this series.

This one was probably my least favorite out of the series tbh. About 35% through, I had to literally switch to the audiobook while reading it because I don’t think I would have finished it otherwise.

It's either not fair that I've read a bunch of wimpy kids books or that I started big Nate on book 7. Either way, this was just okay.

Generally all Nate books are 5 stars to me but in this one I found Nate really acting mean to new kid. Like extra mean. His character is like that but I could have used less obnoxious. Cheers to Dee Dee who came to rescue!

The story opens with Nate's book club being told by the librarian that she's discovered a journal written by one of the students from PS38 100 years ago, one who was also a cartoonist. Then the principal asks him to show a new kid, Breckenridge, around. And, for awhile, Nate works to try and befriend Breckenridge, but then he remembers why he seems so familiar... Thank goodness Deedee saves the day before the school scavenger hunt.

Freakin' hilarious. From the very first page, I was guffawing like a maniac. Maybe I'm crazy or I find anything funny, but I thoroughly enjoyed this!
