3.5 stars. Non-linear narratives are my enemy but I was able to find my footing with this after a bit. It took me a bit to get into this one, but it ended up being a really fun read! Wished we got more detail about the characters-it was hard to feel any way about some of them because it felt that there wasn’t a lot to go off of. I didn’t feel invested in any of the relationships until the end (which I guess, feels accurate to the protagonist as well). But the story felt accurate to young post-college life, especially in regards to dating and job searching! The ending made me feel feelings and I wanna cry about it!

I think I after the first part, where the female bestie is involved, I just didn't find it as interesting or engaging.
I wasn't a fan of how it ended, it was out of nowhere. And I guess I wanted to know more about how the main character will end up, if he manages to find love. But I guess the bittersweet or the open to your own interpretation ending is intended.

Plenty of emotional lines I liked/annotated but I'm 40% in and nothing is actually happening. Maybe it's because it's a simple storytelling that pleasantly reads like a memoir but I'm bored.

while i liked the story and the writing, i feel frustrated that it was advertised as a story of friendship, when jaehee really didn't play even a big part. i guess i was just expecting something different
