Jenna is in for a rocky road. She has just discovered she is pregnant, decides not to tell the father because she doesn’t think he would be interested and her formerly abusive ex has found her.
Jimmy “J.D.” Davis cannot get Liam and Josie’s wedding out of his mind. He spent the night with someone who he cannot forget. But his ex wants him back.
When Jenna’s ex makes a move the band and wives spring into action to protect her.
Liam becomes irate when Jenna says she doesn’t want the father to know about the baby because of his missing out on Noah’s first ten years of life. He complains to Jimmy, who figures out it’s his baby.
He takes Jenna away from everything and marries her. Just when they find their groove, Jimmy’s ex tells him she is pregnant, and it’s his. Once he sorts that out, Jenna’s ex shoots him.
The heroines in this series seem to really buy into the promiscuous rock star trope and do not trust their partners. Jenna spends much of the beginning of the book convinced Jimmy will cheat on her, even with no evidence to corroborate this. As Josie tells her “He is Jimmy after all”; to what purpose I don’t know. When the band is about to go on tour Josie confides to Jenna that she’s sometimes still worries Liam will stray.
Most of the issues between this couple could easily have been solved if they’d had a proper conversation. There seems to be a disconnect between the characters inner thought and their actions.
I adored Josie in Forever My Girl but found her a little unlikable as a secondary character.
Jimmy’s father comes across as a typical ageing rock star whose bygone days were, perhaps too much fun and have led him to his sons ex.
The culmination of the baby’s birth and Jenna’s ex’s death wraps up the book nicely.

This book is so enjoyable that it is like a safe place, it is the second time I read it and I still love it.
First read:
It is a very cute book, Jimmy is one of the cutest things that can exist and he and his devotion to Jeena was so nice to read. They are such an uneven couple but they work very well although their communication problems drove me crazy half of the book and it seemed quite unnecessary, I know they both have their difficult past but they are adults and I expected that kind of behavior from a teenager not two adults and more when they know how complicated their relationship is.
In short, it is a great book to pass the time and it is enjoyable.
PS There is a place in hell only for people like Chalse and James, I hate those motherfuckers.

I'm still in awe of what a talented writer Heidi is. I swear she just gets better and better. We got to see more of Jimmy in My Unexpected
Forever. He is womanizer but we get to see the soft loving side of him. He is also British, sexy and a talented musician. Jimmy wants Jenna but she won't take him seriously. He has baggage and his heart has been broken but he really wants her. He sets out to prove that he's changed; that he's different. Jenna a just needs to let him in. Their story is different from the rest of the series and I love that. It's fresh and unique, just like Jimmy!
"You don't have to hide from me." She sees all the ugly that I am; I should be able to see hers too.
"You give me whiplash, Jimmy."
"What does that mean?"
Jenna sign and wipes her face with the back of her hand."It means that one moment you're this untouchable rocker who doesn't care and then the next you're this sweet guy who does."
"I do have a date, silly girl, with you."
"I want this. I want to take care of you. I want to live with you. I even want to fight with you so we can make-up with each other"
After we set sail, there's gonna be storms
Just don't lose faith in my cause I'll keep us on course
Remember this day, it's written in the stars
We're on our way to forever, girl it's not that far
I've never felt like this before
I see our ship comin' from the shore
And that horizon in your eyes
Is like Tobacco Sunburst

Finding My Forever
Heidi McLaughlin
Book #3 ~ Beaumont
3✨
Synopsis ~ Everywhere I look, my friends are settling down - marriage, children, white picket fences; but not me. Marriage isn't in the cards for me. I'm a ladies man.
A rock star.
I was born and raised in the industry.
I love everything about my life, especially the attention from the women that my status brings me.
Women find me. I don't chase. I know what they want and they know I'll deliver.
But after one look, one touch, one night...
Now I'm the one doing the chasing.
I need to find a way to show her that I'm serious, that I can change.
I need to find a way to show her that I can love her fully, and only her.
I need to find a way to show her that she's my forever.
Thoughts ~ I really enjoyed this, learning more about the third member of the band. At times it felt like it dragging a little but then the next minute I was completely enjoying it again! The miscommunication between them sometimes was annoying but it definitely added to the storyline overall.

What a whirlwind of a book. I love this series with my whole heart ♥️
The Beaumont series is still going strong in my eyes and continues to get me hooked on the characters’ stories. This time around we get to hear Jimmy’s side.
In this emotional roller coaster ride we get Jimmy and Jenna’s story and it was one not to take too lightly. His accent was swoony, he was full of fun, and when things got tough and out of the ordinary is where the story will have your mind pulling you in all sorts of directions. The life of musicians; although, have this reputation of partying hard, one-night stands (the list can go on and on) buts its when life gets serious is when you see the true person behind all their actions.
This may seem like another typical story but after getting to get pieces of him in the previous books his story was different in a way. It was not just another insta-love type relationship it was much more.

We're back in Beaumont with the guys from 4225 West, and this time we get to meet Jimmy "JD" Davis. The British hunk with a love for the ladies. And the ladies certainly love him too. I mean, he's British, hot, can sing, he's in a band, and he's from a broken home. I'm pretty sure he ticks all the boxes and pushes all the right buttons.
I am such a HUGE fan of this series and Heidi Mclaughlin never fails to make me fall in love with her characters, and Jimmy with his British charm was no exception. It wasn't instant love for me with him though. To start with I wasn't sure what to think about him. He came across as a bit of an A-hole but as we get further along in the story, we learn more about him and he completely won me over.
Now, with Jenna, the female main character and love interest of Jimmy, it was a different story. I loved her from the very start and the more I read, the more I loved her. My heart broke for her when I learned of her past and I was really worried for her. I hoped and prayed that everything would work out for her because she absolutely deserved the best and on occasion I even wanted to slap Jimmy around a bit for being stupid. But he wasn't the worst of the troubles.
Heidi certainly knows how to keep you gripped to her novels. There was drama and intensity coming from all directions and there were plenty of *GASP* and "OMG" moments. Even just thinking about it all now has my heart rate increasing.
And then of course there were the tears. Something happened and I was a complete mess! Tears, tears, and more tears! My emotions took one heck of a beat down while reading this book but I honestly wouldn't have had it any other way.
And let us not forget the incredible band behind the series, 4225 West. It was great getting to see Liam and Harrison again. Liam played quite a big part in Finding My Forever which I'm assuming is because he will be getting a prequel novella about back in the day before he returned to Beaumont and I could not be any more excited for this! But the tattooed, motorcycle riding, Harrison still owns my heart. *dreamy sigh* I love him so much!
A must read for all fans of the Beaumont series.
