I loved this book so much! I loved how the main character Zuri, was so confident, and wanted to chase her dreams no matter what! I was super happy when I realized that the author had written about some of the struggles us brown girls face, and how Zuri was always strong, and didn’t let it get to her! My favorite part was how the author showed a huge happy family coming together to celebrate the sister’s wedding. Definitely recommend!!!
This was such a cute, fun read!! I loved seeing all of the different traditions involved in a big Bollywood style wedding, and the story has such a wonderful blend of family, romance, and pursuing dreams. Really great YA rom-com!
A fun story
I liked this one. It was fun watching the wedding unfold and I liked the college storyline. I liked how the focus was more on culture and family than the romance, but still liked the interplay between the two characters.

This book was delightful. It was a lush, detailed book about an Indian wedding. I throughly enjoyed it. I loved Zuri! She was a really amazing main character. I felt the book was more a family story then a romance.
