DID NOT FINISH: 73%

As someone who bakes I thought this would be a good read but I was mistaken. Main character was annoying and rude. The fatphobia was off putting as a reader. Hannah helping solve a murder mystery makes no sense? It’s set in a small town where everyone knows each other how was she able to fake being a police officer over the phone it made no sense. I was more than halfway done with the book but couldn’t bring myself to finish it; it felt like the author was stretching out the story it got boring after a while .

Great cozy mystery. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for Hannah's brother-in-law. It really bugged me that he left all the investigating to Hannah. He's supposed to be a police officer!

I fell in love with Hannah. She is so funny and I can see why everyone in her town likes her. She is everything you want in a main female character. I loved that there are recipes in the book and you can bake cookies along with Hannah. I really loved this book. It was a fun mystery and I liked the small town feeling. I am already looking forward to reading the next one.
