All reviews in one place: Night Mode Reading

Deanna blacks out just to wake up with a broken nose, a dark spot in her memory, and vague sense of dread. There’s a new really annoying woman living in the neighborhood. Her junkie helper is getting bold. Her boyfriend doesn’t pick up his phone, and the last she remembers seeing him, was the night before her nose got broken. After some digging in her mind, she is pretty sure, he was the one to do it too. To calm her down. But why was she so aggravated? Did she try to kill him? Did her madness overpower her? To the point where her boyfriend knocked her out, and ran for it?

Police shows up at Deanna’s door, armed with questions and prepared to search through her stuff. Deanna was pretty sure she cleaned all there was to clean when she had to, but here they are. In her car. With her knife. And blood on it. And so Deanna is arrested for attempted murder of her boyfriend.

This was one fine detective line, leading me on well to the end. I enjoyed this book greatly, and wish it were series, rather than just a trilogy! 5 out of 5, couldn’t give it less if I wanted to.

OH GOD! OH GOD! I WAS SO SAD WHEN I SAW THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. IT HAS OFFICIALLY ENDED!!! *sobs uncontrollably*

Deanna Madden has officially became one of my most favorite badass female character. I love this last book and I'm truly hoping that there would be another one for the Madden series! It was too good to end it that way!! The ending was heartbreaking though. We didn't even get to see Jeremy wake up! It just ended with Deanna's letter and it's just so sad. I'm truly hopeful that this will not be the end although this book has been published years ago ugh. There is still so much that I would love to know especially with all the characters. Mike and Derek. And with Deanna's new life. I hope Alessandra Torre decides to dive back in and write another one. My fingers are crossed!!!

I have lived in the mind of Deanna Madden for 3 days straight, only coming up for air when I absolutely had to. Though I haven't gotten my Mike & Deanna dream come true, I am holding out hope (it's been 8 years since this novel was released, so my hopes may be limited to whatever I can dream up in my own mind). Such an amazing series.

Absolutely adore the Deanna Madden / Jessica Reilly series, one of my favourite book series. They’re exciting and funny and action packed. This one had more mystery than the first two, which I really liked. Really hoping for a fourth book!

I really loved this book. I did not give 5 stars because there was just something missing. I can't put my finger on it. I still highly recommend it and can't wait for more Deanna.

Ugh, this series... dang, I loved it and want more. I need an update. I'm really glad she added the Author's Note at the end... it helped a little since I was kind of upset. Lol. I didn't love the format of this book at first with the Past and Now flip flopping.... it grew on me though, as I should have known it would. If A. R. Torre writes another in this series, I will cheer and get it as soon as possible. I highly recommend checking this series out. :)
