So grateful that the extension of the Avatar universe into novels takes its task just as seriously in terms of world building and exploring geopolitics and morality. The epilogue’s reveal of how this book’s action sets up the Fire Nation we know from the show is so satisfying. Very tempted to read more of the series!
to pra ver um personagem assombrar tanto uma narrativa igual o jianzhu fez… bixo miserável
“Kyoshi found herself bolstered by an unfamiliar, terrible, powerful feeling.
Pride. Pride in herself. Pride in her duty, no matter how great and terrible and ill-fitted to her it was. Despite the opposition of man and spirits, this was the Era of Kyoshi. There would be no other.” 4,5
still one of the best fantasy series i've read in a while, hard to miss with a world as wonderful as the avatar one. I would have liked to see more of the flying opera company in this, i would have also liked to read more about Yun's arc in those two years.

I liked this book a lot more then the first, the chapters were still a little bit long but I liked it.
I loved seeing the relationship between Kyoshi and Rangi grow into something more.
