This book was exactly what I was hoping for out of a cheesy, hallmark romance. The fake relationship trope is always one of my favorites, and this was no exception. There was a little bit of plot woven into the storyline and some drama with the possible failure of an important business deal, but it all wrapped up nicely by the end with a cute little bow. Overall an easy, cheesy read.
I docked two stars because I would have liked to get a little more depth from the characters. We saw a lot of Barrett's personal growth in his character arc but don't really know much about either of them. I also thought the amount of sex towards the end was a little much. It got to the point where it was just gratuitous.

I really loved this book. I loved the grumpy-sunshine chemistry between the characters, I loved both MCs, I loved the banter, and I loved the smut. Reluctantly yours regularly made me LOL and overall made me happy. This book is why I love to read romance.
HOWEVER…
As the following is pretty standard romance novel fare I wouldn’t argue this as a spoiler, but if you never read romance and want to be completely in the dark read no further. WARNING: minor spoiler ahead!? I guess?
The 3rd act break up rolled around (standard). It came out of the blue and was super forced. No-one in a somewhat sensible and serious relationship would break up over this. In fact, it didn’t even have anything to do with the MCs nor their relationship. This then led to the MMC grovelling at the FMCS feet over not really doing something wrong, which made all of this rather unsatisfactory.
REGARDLESS, I ate this shit up and overall really loved it. Will be checking out other books by this author.
