adventurous funny lighthearted mysterious

I love read these books. They're funny and easy to read. I'm like Stephanie torn between Morellie and Ranger.

I laughed out loud in the lunchroom...a lot...while reading this book. It's as funny as her earlier books (circa book #6) were, back around the time Grandma Mazur was blowing up the funeral parlor. It's hard to categorize the Stephanie Plum series, though, because they are not quite romances, not quite mysteries, etc. They are just FUNNY. And I like funny. :)

First read November 7, 2009.

Stephanie’s slimeball ex-husband, Dickie Orr, goes missing, and Stephanie is under suspicion. It’s that threat to Stephanie that sends Joe to Ranger for help and sharing Stephanie-watch. Oh, yeah…

"…Morelli said to Ranger. 'Can you be trusted with her?

'No,' Ranger said. 'Not for a second.'"
