Funny, like that it had book discussion questions and another added feature (don't want to spoil it for others:)
3.75. It was fun. I was invested and entertained, but it fizzled out a bit at the end for me, especially in the romance department.
I've seen some comments that make this book seem stupid and kinda sexist. But honestly I think this book is about overcoming the hardship life throws at you. For me it was a motivational read. I agree that this book isn't for everyone. But you have to realize this is about the story of one women trying to honor another woman's life. That all being said there are plenty of moments where you would like to yell at the main character, but come on - no one is perfect.
I loved this book! I don't think I've ever laughed out loud while reading a book, but I did a couple of times in this one. It's a total chick book that is a fun, light read. The only negative to the book was that it had about a dozen swear words in it. I hate that. It reminded me of my own list of things I want to do before I die and made me want to get back to that list and start getting some of them done!
This was an easy read - even though it was about a serious accident, it was funny and light-hearted.
Eh. This was good as a light cd-book to listen to while driving, but it didn't have me putting in any extra miles.
I love this novel! The characters are relatable, funny & memorable. I enjoyed reading every chapter in this book and it's one that does inspire you to create your own life list. You root for the main character and everyone (at the end) in this novel. It has a couple of nicely done simple twists and isn't as predictable as you might think. A good read I recommend to any of my friends. :)
This was pretty good chick lit. June feels guilty for surviving a car crash and finds a list made by the other person in the car, who did not survive, of things to do before her 25th birthday. June takes it upon herself to finish the list. There are some funny parts as she tries to do cross off items. The book never gets overly maudlin and June discovers a lot about herself as she works on the list.
