I wasn't expecting to love this book, but I did! It was a fairly easy read, with a few tacky bits here and there, but overall it was really enjoyable with well developed characters. It had a few unexpected twists in it too, which kept it interesting.

Kinda cute and little bit funny.

This was just what I needed after a stressful basketball season ended. Great chick-lit and it kept me up late reading something fun. The overall message was really nice and I teared up at the end. Though I did have a few complaints (spoilers): I'm not a fan of books leading you to like one guy as a love interest for most of the book and then suddenly cutting that option off to someone totally different. I wasn't ready for June to switch her affections at the end and then there was no heat between the 2 because the book ended as soon as they hooked up. Oh well, maybe other readers saw it coming, but I didn't.

This may not go under life changing, but it did cause me to think. So while I am supposed to be paying attention at work week, I will be making my list of 25 things I need to do before I turn 25.

Definitely chick lit, but really cute.

Really enjoyed this book! Definitely surprised by the ending. A very entertaining and light read - I recommend!

I really enjoyed this one and read it very quickly - started on Friday and finished on Saturday. I really liked how June throws herself into completing Marissa's list, even if it wasn't initially her plan and she only said it so Marissa's brother wouldn't be angry that she kept the list from the family. June goes on such a remarkable personal journey and meets some wonderful people along the way. That is why I liked the book. I would have given it another star if it wasn't for the romantic aspect of the story. I think it kind of took away from the grander theme of self discovery. I'm sure some people appreciated it but I don't think it would have bothered me if she hadn't ended up with anyone (but I'm not telling you who!) This was a nice read, quick but with a good story to it and I would definitely recommend it!

The ending was so unexpected. Seriously, it was shocking, but I've never been more satisfied than with this.
It's a heartfelt story, but also filled with humor, love and most of all, learning to live again after a tragedy. That's the best lesson a person can learn.
A very good read.

It was fine. Not something I'd pick up again but the list idea was cute.

This was the first book chosen by my book club. It was a quick, easy and enjoyable read. One comment that many of us made during our discussion of the book was the range of emotions throughout. At times we laughed out loud and other times we cried...all aspects of a great book. Though there were parts that I found somewhat farfetched, I did enjoy seeing the list completed. Each member of our club brought our list of 5 things that we would like to complete in the next 5 years to share, which was a great way to relate the books to our own lives.
