This is a little deeper than typical fluffy chick-lit. June is finishing the "to do before my 25th birthday list" of an acquaintance who was killed in a car that June was driving.

I was a little disappointed in the ending, but overall it was an enjoyable book.

Really loved this book. It reminds me that I wrote a list of 40 things to do by age 40. I will need to find that now! I really like the part at the end where there are suggestions of making lists with your friends / book club members. Would love to hear from anyone who has read this about their lists!

A cute, sweet little story about changing your life.

I found this one on Goodreads. I read a few reviews and I can't believe that some of them actually read the same book. The main character DOES NOT rely on a man to swoop in and save her. She is NOT pathetic and whiney. It's definitely Chic Lit but made of the best kind. Overall a super enjoyable read!

I really enjoyed the purpose of this book and did actually find it inspiring to some extent. Maybe that's just because I, like the main character, am going through a dead point in my life, just going through the motions. I wish the characters would have been more fully developed. Many came across as vapid and shallow. A meaningful book should have more meaningful characters, but all in all I did like it.

This is a chick lit book with a good premise. A woman, June, was giving a ride home to someone she just met. They get in a car accident and her passenger dies, leaving behind a list of things she'd wanted to do before her 25th birthday. For six months or so, June does nothing, then decides to fulfill everything on there, before the dead woman's birthday (since June herself is already 34). Along the way, this will change her into a new person, right? Well, it's chick lit, so it has to. LOL. It wasn't as good as it could have been. They made big productions on small little things on the list. June herself is kind of meh. Actually all the characters are. This book made me think about what i'd put on a list, although then i realized i'm not the type of person to make one. Fast, light, junk food type book, not bad, not spectacular.

Cute quick story. Makes me want to take out my list and see what I've done since I wrote it.

I picked this up thinking it was something entirely different than what it was, and it's probably not important to go into the details on that.

This was a fairly predictable read, I saw lots of plot points coming around the corner, and really...the concept behind this book is a step away from email glurge. 90% of this book was "meh" or "a way to pass the time."

The remaining 10% hit me like a ton of bricks. But the reason it did is so bloody obscure that I can only in good conscience pass this book along to one person in my life. The rest of you probably shouldn't bother.
