I feel like my heart exploded while reading this book.

I absolutely loved it. It was such a soft romantic read at its core while having witty banter between characters. I felt so connected to these characters and the relationship between Alex and Henry. Their banter and the romantic excerpts from historical letters that they would send each other had me invested. The smart mouthed and quick wit dialogue was not reserved only for Henry and Alex but all of the characters in this book.

I wish that the world was like how it is in this book. Monarchies are changed. America fights for what’s right and comes out on top. The book gives me a lot of hope for what the world could be if we all showed a bit more love towards one another. It was amazing to see family support each other and put each other first.

Cute! Fun! What I needed right now. I thought this was going to be too smutty for my taste (and there was a point I thought it got to that point) but it was a good read anyhow. It was hopeful and uplifting.

I bought this book for my holiday, and I was really excited to read it. After reading the first few pages on the plane, I had such a hard time putting it down to actually enjoy my vacation. The writing is immaculate and Casey is so skilled in describing how two people in their twenties interact. The sass, the jokes and the way their friendship developes is so well-written that it blew my socks off. The character development is amazing. However, this book has it's flaws. The policital situation isn't realistic, it's written in a way that's very optimistic. This makes it both predictable, hopeful and uplifting at the same time. For a book that's about two world leaders, I reckon this can be disappointing for some. The real world might never work like this, but there's still hope that it can. I think that's exactly what the author intended, to give hope. 5/5

I watched the movie last year and have been wanting to read the book. I enjoyed the book just as much as I enjoyed the movie. I love the relationship between Alex and Henry. After reading the book; now I have to go and watch the movie again. I love that the movie was done very close to the book, but as with most movies and books, so much more details in the book, which I absolutely loved! I want there to be more of Alex and Henry :)

After taking a reading hiatus I was looking for something for Pride and something lighthearted — in walked Prince Henry and Alex!

A cute fun read talking about all the different ways you can be you. I really appreciate the happy ending!!
