It started slow. It took me a while to pick up the pace, but once I did it became a nice enough read to pass time, not a very Christmasy book, but I guess that wasn't really the focus.
I'm terrible at anagrams so I couldn't pick up any of the clues given so after a while I stopped searching.
I think that, overall, it was well written, but I got a bit bored at times and by the end it became very predictable and was only waiting for the culprit to finally come clean.

This book had fun hidden games in it for people who are into anagrams and puzzles. Unfortunately, I've discovered I am not, but it was still interesting to see the author tie the puzzles into the book.

The Christmas Murder game was a cozy feeling holiday murder mystery. I had so much fun decoding clues and guessing who was behind the sinister happenings at Endgame House. I'm not going to lie, I struggled through the first handful of chapters as I felt they kind of dragged along slowly, but when a body is discovered, the stakes are immediately heightened and I could not put it down. I pulled an all-nighter to finish this book!
