A mediocre guy who’s spent a lifetime burying his wounds and then capsizes his career in a drunken stupor. While a nice message, LIVE, LIVE FULLY!!! The overall narrative and especially the protagonist just didn’t rock my world.

This would work better as a short story something for a magazine.

Such a pleasant read. Funny, fully of heart, cast of lovable characters. The reality of using humor, sarcasm, and hyper awareness to mask grief and depression. And finding your tribe to cope. Clocking in under 300 pages it had an emotional impact without losing its charm. It’s a lovely read
