I loved this book but I also hated this book. Very cheesy, it feels very romcom reference obsessed that turns a little too much. Emotional development of the characters felt weak.

Still obsessed. Still in love. Still screaming. 🫠 Wes and Liz own my entire soul, and the new characters?? YES. That interview scene with Bennett wrecked me—like full tears, no warning. 💔
Confession: I liked book one a tiny bit better (I’m not a second-chance romance girlie, okay?? sue me). But THIS BOOK?? Still so good. Relatable too—college setting hit closer to home.
And don’t even get me STARTED on the date scene. Fancy clothes + McDonald’s in the car >>> five-star restaurants. ICONIC. Plan B supremacy forever.
4 stars because Lynn Painter is a menace in the best way. The movie & music references? Chef’s kiss. Honestly, I’m just sitting here giggling, crying, and wondering how I got this invested in fictional people.

I really wanted to like this based on the first book, which I enjoyed. But this was too cringe in my opinion and I could not imagine young adults talking like this.
