Incredibly rewarding book to read. A little tedious to get through but very worth it in the end to learn about yourself and the way you think.
I am just going to shelve this unfinished. Reason: Non-fiction... dry as bones...

An interesting read. It really made me think about how many of my decisions are rational and intentional as opposed to how many are reflexive and just sort of happen.

An advice for those who are going to read this book: read it SLOWLY. There are times (not once or twice, but many times) that I fell asleep while reading this book; but when I decided to read it slower, I began to realize how interesting this book is. I would recommend this book to those who are interested in psychology and those who keep wondering: "Why can't I be more rational?".
A fantastic read exploring the pitfalls of our thinking process, Kahneman felt like a very smart good friend explaining interesting findings in a clear and engaging way. At times this book was a bit over my head, but most of it was broken down into digestible and interesting pieces pulling directly from research studies and sprinkled with stories, a feat in creating an accessible bridge between the research and the lay community
There was a lot of hype surrounding this book, and it is a good summary of common psychological facts, but is is by no means as groundbreaking as the hype would lead you to believe. Nevertheless it is a good summary of a number of decades of research and does have some interesting insights.
I would recommend it if you have no existing knowledge on the subject.
