adventurous mysterious

★x4 | (A-) 90% | AGES 14+ | Can we just....I will never not fail to observe the obvious. I mean.....look at me. I’m at a loss for words. I need an award or something for over-analyzing things. Anyways, this was a crazy good mystery.

This is the first Agatha Christie book I’ve read in a very long time. However perhaps my expectations were high because I don’t think it delivered. It took forever for the story to actually kick in. I found the characters flat and storyline predictable

They really need to stop throwing things into that river

A true masterpiece. None of the various adaptations do it full justice, although the 1978 film and the 2004 tv episode are very good adaptations. The 2022 adaptation is trash don’t waste your time. I listened to the audiobook read by David Suchet (Poirot in the 2004 tv episode mentioned before) and he did a fantastic job narrating.
