3.5 stars.
Took a long time to get into this one, but it had me by the end. I will proceed to the next book in the series.

I thought it was fine! It took awhile for me to get into the story, and I don't think I ever really did. I'm not sure, it felt a little like moving from one scene to the next without much to connect them. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great!

3.5 stars! I liked this! Not my usual cup of tea, but glad I read it for my book club.

So thoughtfully written, with beautifully developed characters. This was a real page turner the entire time.

Great first installment for the trilogy, it did a great job of setting up the world and the rest of the series. I was not gripped the entire way through the book but it was an enjoyable read. I believe the ending of this book was great and I can't wait to read the rest of the series, I have a feeling they will be even better.
