It was a good Mystery Novel, not my personal favorite though. The Murderer being Miss. Griffin was unexpected, though the book was good at making me laugh and question at times, I recommend if you want a book to read as an extra book when bored, this would be it!

Seemed way too long. Very dry and very dense for a middle-grade book. Not all that interesting, and it was basically resolved about 3/4 of the way through.

I don't personally enjoy the boarding school setting but I gave the book an extra star because plenty of my students do. I like that I can happily lend this murder mystery series to my younger students.

I thought the mystery was okay and I liked Hazel as the narrator. The listing of the suspects and alibis was a little repetitive but otherwise the read was pretty well paced. Daisy wasn't very likeable but I think I will give another book in the series a try.
