Overall a good read (listen). I felt it was a little predicable but there were a couple good twists in there. The audiobook was nice because they utilized various readers for different characters, which was nice.

This book was very difficult for me to get into initially. I finally became fully invested around 1/3 in. I really hate the premise of this book, the crime it investigates and especially Jean and Glen.

I thought the author did a fantastic job in writing, researching and grasping this horrific topic. Thankfully she created characters like the detective and the reporter that were likable enough to keep you reading to find out what really happened.

3.5/5.

DID NOT FINISH

Meh

Different than what I was expecting. Well written and an overall excellent story. You feel for the Widow. Figure out the husband rather quickly and what happened. But that's meant. It's the road to the end you're reading. And it's quite a ride.

The characters in this novel were well-developed and the plot moved at a steady pace. Throughout the novel, I found myself questioning each character and only at the very end when the author want you, did you realize what may be going on. Great quick read.

Interesting to read a book written from the point of view of the wife of an accused killer. Sad story, sad characters, crazy ending.
