Ok I get what this book was trying to do, but like the relationship depicted between the two main characters is INCREDIBLY toxic and not at all a good model for the impressionable younger readers this book is targeted at. Aside from that this book was definitely one of those addictive, read in one sitting types, which is always fun, but I still feel like the overall toxic themes of the relationship were too much to ignore.

I’m unsure how to feel about this book. I enjoyed it but I didn’t love it! I think if I head read this book back in high school when it first came out I would have completely fallen in love with the story. Now I’m a little unsure. I think at some point I might try and continue on though!

This was something.

I do love a book where there is something else than insta Love. But what I did not expect here at all was aliens. Have read about all the creatues in the book almost, but this I never expected. Did also Love the witty banter, but in the end got a bit old. All bark and no bite so to say. Anyways a good book to entertain yourslef with.

I can’t exactly place what I want to say regarding this book, but I did finish real fast though, so I guess this was a good one. Definitely an interesting start to a series, so hopefully I’ll like the next one.

I really loved this book! Even though it wasn't that original...at all. But I thought Katy and Daemons bantering was hilarious. So yay! 5 stars!

Wow. I can't believe it. [b:Obsidian|12578077|Obsidian (Lux, #1)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1328275091s/12578077.jpg|17588854], the first book in the Lux Series, is surprisingly good. This is the first paranormal book I've read that focuses on aliens and I admit that I initially had no intentions in reading one until I saw my friends' positive reviews on this one. Curious on what the fuss is about, I knew I had to get my hands on this book. And I'm just so glad that I finally got to read it and it didn't disappoint. It actually lived up to my expectations.

The characters are indeed funny, especially Kat and Daemon. Oh, how I just love those two and their love/hate relationship. Daemon may be a bit of a jerk and it gets annoying sometimes, too, but then we find out that it's because he's trying not to like Kat which is impossible since Kat is a very lovable character.

There are so much more I'd like to say about this book but it seems like nothing coherent goes into my mind right now as I'm still coping to the awesomeness of this book. I shall continue my review later. Ciao!
