Well well well. If it isn't my *thinks for a second* 9th Mariana Zapata book. I mean she's truly the queen of slow burn and she did not miss... for the 9th time. My first ever Mariana book was Kulti, and I absolutely adored Sal and Rey. Obviously, both are soccer superstars, so it sort of seemed out-of-reach to me, which was fine since I get that these are fiction romances, but I tend to like to read more realistic/normal person romances if you get me. Sal's cousin, Diana, is the protagonist in this romance and her love interest happens to be her neighbor. And her nephew's baseball coach. And married. So obviously, Diana can't fall in love with him... right? Wrong. I mean Dallas meets all of the ideal personality traits, and I absolutely loved watching the two of them fall in love. I highly recommend this book to any fans of slow burn romance and doesn't mind a 12 year-ish age gap.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m 4 for 4 when it comes to infinite stars for a Mariana Zapata book. I loved every minute of this book!! 400 pages of slow burn, but there was nothing slow about this book (in my opinion).

The story follows Diana, who has lost her older brother/ best friend and has taken custody of his two boys. Josh and Louie were such sweet characters in this story. Louie is a 5 year old who brings out the adorable moments with Dallas. Josh was the softest and yet most moody 11 year old. He brought on all heartbreak that comes with losing your parents. He is also want brings Dallas and Diana together

I love diana and dallas so much <3.
