As much as I loved Diana Casillas, I really was not sold on Dallas. The story had everything I like about Mariana Zapata's romantic scenarios, but our hero was unconvincing and the connection between the two main characters eluded me almost until the epilogue. I still read this book cover to cover and was entertained, so it is a true testimony to Zapata's unearthly powers. The queen of slow burn strikes again.
