Another Mariana Zapata success. I absolutely love her little boys, Josh and Louie. Their love for their aunt was almost better than Dallas. I just can't bring myself to rate this as high as Kulti or Lukov.
Waaaaay too slow for me, way too much inner monologue with nothing actually happening.
This truly was a slow, SSSSSLOOOOOWWWW burn. But how cute

Mariana Zapata just became my favorite author.

Still iconic. I didn’t know Trip was the Trip from Under Locke until I re-read this book. It was a pleasant surprise and added a new thing to my second read tbh. As well as all the other references from the motorcycle club etc.. I didn’t pay attention to it on my first read because I didn’t read Under Locke until recently.

Just because of this book the single parent trope might become my new personality for a while because there is nothing better than seeing one of the mcs fall in love with the other mc and their kid/s and loving them like they're their own.
Not to mention the fact that she raised the bar to heaven with Dallas because can you tell me precisely how should I find someone to love when I know no one would be as perfect as he is?? Like genuinely the sole idea makes me cry and this is depressing.
600 pages that got me hooked all night, in fact it's 8am rn and i didn't sleep at all (i'll probably be passed out for the rest of the day and repeat this cycle tonight but we will ignore that)

personally i don’t want to wait until im 86% into a book before the couple even gets together but hey that’s just me 🤷🏼♀️
Re-read: for some reason I felt compelled to re-read the part of the book where the FMC is crying in the bathroom at the baseball game.... Then I ended up just re-reading the whole thing. I love this book, I love MZ, I am completely obsessed.
5/5 stars - this book hits so much harder than it should. Love it.
