Too slow for me. Almost DNF. Someone said to stick with it and that it picked up around chapter 5, but I didn’t find that to be true. It did have a good story and the ending was good. I am one to read my favorites over again, but unfortunately, I won’t be reading this one again.

The way this woman writes!!!! I loved every single page of this book so much! This story was so beautiful and funny.
I have no opinion about the spice, it was blah but the story was perfect

i knew ms zapata could get me out of my slump, and i was obviously hooked, her books are like crack.
i wasn't expecting to love this one so much, i thought it would just be a silly, fun time. this was so cute?! normally i'm not a huge fan of kids in books, but i fell in love with lou and josh, and their little family unit.
diana really grew on me throughout the book, and i loved her dynamic with the kids, and her outlook on life.
the slow-burn was slow and i loved it, the payoff was great!! there was chemistry and vibes and ugh. i enjoyed this so much and it made me feel so many emotions.

While I usually enjoy a slow-burn romance, this one took a bit too long to get going. About halfway through, I remember thinking that I was just waiting for something to happen (no pun intended, despite the title of the book!).
The FMC and MMC were both strong, well-developed characters, and I really appreciated the emotional depth the children added to the story. The family dynamics brought heart, and I was invested in their story.
That said, I wish the pacing had picked up sooner, and some of the secondary characters felt underdeveloped. This was a solid read with some lovely moments, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

This was easily one of the best books i’ve ever read. I could not put it down. THE BOYS ARE SO PERFECT. I LOVE LOUIE AND JOSH THEY ARE SO SO SO ADORABLE THEY MADE THE BOOK. I loved the crossover with The Wall of Winnipeg and Me and Kulti. I missed those characters. Mariana is the queen of slow burn bc my girl does it right. I loved Dallas and I LOVED Diana, she was so funny and strong and i really loved everything about this book.
