Hollow Hellion

I knew this book would be a hit for me the moment I laid eyes on the cover and that enticing trigger warning list. This story is completely unhinged, with just the right touch of gore. Nior stands as a formidable force, far from the fragile doll Hellion aims to break. Instead, she emerges as a complex blend of pain and strength, a survivor who carries her past traumas with grace. The characters in *Hollow Hellion* are absolutely phenomenal. Hellion embodies the morally black archetype—brutal, terrifying, yet utterly compelling. Despite his dark nature, you find yourself irresistibly drawn to him. Nior, as the fierce female lead, is equally mesmerizing. Her strength, resilience, and the many layers of her character make her a protagonist you can't help but root for.

Thank you so much Jodie for the opportunity to ARC read this book!!

Damn this book!! From the of set there was just something weird about Eli! He made me feel uneasy, I really didn't like him. But then in walks Hell and he made my inside light up brighter than firework night baby. I would get on my knees and let that man do anything to me! I really enjoyed this story, even if I feel like Kyro got off lightly... he deserved to suffer more. I can't wait for the next book on the series, because I got a feeling Wrath is going to be the man for me!

Please read the TW before diving on to this book, because it is very dark and heavy.

I don't understand how Jodie continues to do this.

Noir, the main character, is a deeply flawed woman who, due to how she was "raised," has trust issues. While "on the run" Noir ends up at Oddity Circus, where she meets Hell.

Hell, our imperfect perfect love interest. Dealing with a bastard of an uncle Hell is psychotic who decides on day one that he's obsessed with Noir. And so it starts.

Madame runs Oddity like a mother. She can tell quite quickly if this is the place for you. Calling people as she sees them Oddity is more than a place to work, it's a family of misfits. All in all I loved this book and can't wait for more.

This was a pretty good book. The steamy scenes were on fire and the dirty talk was hot. I wish there was more action in the circus/carnival. Even though the majority of the book is set there, we don't see much of it and I wanted more. I'm excited to read any future books set in this world.

Be sure to read the long list of trigger warnings before starting this book.

As a friend put it: "Character development? I could tell the 'twist' since like the beginning is not even really hidden at all. It was a wild excuse of a development to type several chapters of a rape fantasy short story."

Also,
Multiplicity bullshit
and numerous grammatical/spelling errors. Sorry, but this just wasn't it for me.
