Personally this book had pretty great premise to it. And it definitely checked the boxes for messed up. However the over detail in the book honestly killed it. I felt like it was dragging by the end. I am curious to see what the next book holds. Do not go in blind. This book is definitely on the dark dark dark side of things and I can not stress that enough. There were things I enjoyed from it. The characters are interesting enough to keep this out of a dnf for me.

I absolutely ate this twisted book up! This circus style book was everything I was looking for. It had the twists, great plot, great character building and spice! The darkness level was amazing. I loved Hellion and Noirs story. I can’t wait to read the other Hollows boys stories! I highly recommend check TW/CW

Oh. My. Gosh. If I could give this book 100 stars out of 5 I would!!! This is the first book I've ever read from this author and I'm hooked. It's dark, it's twisted, it's crazy, and it's so much more! Ugh Noir and Hellion story is just *drooling*

First, if you like you some crazy two personality man chasing you in a glass house that is a death trap, that he created. READ THIS BOOK! Ugh I honestly couldn't put it down. It's 2am and I just finished. That's how good it is!! Mind you, it's dark, like dark dark but I'm in love! The twist that you learn at the end. It made my blood boil!!! Ugh everyone deserved everything that happened to them and more!!!! I'm hooked and will be reading everything from this author from here on out!

Hellion and Noir are sadistic and dark. Oddity carnival and cirque is not what you think and there is so much more going on than what’s showing at first glance.

jodie king does a great job pulling you in from the first page and keeps your intrigue till the last word. There are trigger warnings, red flags, suspense, action, and so much more shoved into the pages of this erotic horror novel.

if you like your books pitch black, with spice, horror, and then a HEA, this is the book for you.

there were a couple chapters that were extremely dark and very graphic so mind your mental health *

Book Review: Hollow Hellion by Jodie King

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

When I heard this was a dark book, I figured it wouldn’t be that dark. However, once I read it, boy was I wrong. It’s basically on the same level as Haunting/Hunting Adeline. If you enjoyed that duet, absolutely looking for another really dark read,

this is definitely the book for you.

I really liked all the different characters in the book. They are all so different, yet crazy. They also all seem to have some troubled past that adds to their character.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Before reading, please read all of the triggers as there are some very hard and explicit content.

First of all, before you start with this book, be sure to check out the TWs, because your mental health always comes first and there are some really heavy topics mentioned. You have been warned!

The story takes you deep into a creepy world full of insanity and carnal desires. Our MCs Noir and Hell are dealing with their demons in their own way. Noir suffered for years since her mother died in a car accident and she tries to overcome her struggles with anti-depressants. Hell on the other hand enjoys his insanity and doesn’t give a fųçk what others want or think. Jodie manages to keep you on the edge all the time with her plot twists and always finds a way to make it more intense and more creepy.

The spice is so much, that I had to skip some paragraphs.

So if you are into really dark romance, with a lot of body fluids, depraved desires and no triggers - this is your book!

Boy. Oh. Boy. I don’t even know where to start with this one. I must admit I liked this way more than I thought I would. I knew I was gonna like it but ya girl really just loved it. Was it 90% smut and like 10% plot. Yes. But the plot was so freaking good. I was hooked. And in surprise to no one…. We have a new one to add to the list. Oh my Hell. 😮‍💨. I just… boy I have no words. And little Noir. Oh my heart. I love her so much and there’s a part of me that connected real deep with her. Watching her and Hell together and watching her just grow into this bad ass was just everything. Hell let her figure her shit out and let her grow and accepted her how she was. Damage and all. I have fallen fast for this little circus group. More than I thought I would. I will be back to visit for sure. I don’t think I can let go.
