2023 reread: I want to binge the series so I decided to restart. I also chose to read the original versions. In this book I don't see much different then the book I read last time which was updated. Still a great story and cant wait to uncover everything!

I wish I could be a DHI. Close my eyes and wake up in an empty Magic Kingdom. As a person who loves all things Disney, I can't think of a better concept for a story!
Called it: I expected to love this series now as much as I did when I first read it in middle school, and I was right! 5 teenagers unknowingly get transformed into holograms as part of a plot to save Disney World from the Villains who are trying to take over the park. Easy, fun, suspenseful, atmospheric, the best.
I read these as a kid and needed some hardcore nostalgia. They haven't disappointed yet! Honestly, for kids' books, these are pretty dang good!

Loads of fun, especially since I was just at Disney World three days ago!
This book was awesome! Recommended to any Disney fan! I only found two oops, and it is actually shocking based on how much research Pearson did. He makes a heated note that they do not count quests per ride. That is false, the count is recorded on the hour, it tells the management if a ride is worth keeping. Second, they call Atmosphere characters walk around characters. I know this to be false because I would audition for atmosphere characters every year. And it was called atmosphere character auditions. Aside from that, brilliant story. I will be catching up on the series asap!

I thought this book was interesting, though the writing as a little faulty at times. I, like many others, enjoy Disney products, so the idea behind this book was one that made me want to read it. Though I can't say it was as amazing as I hoped, it had plenty of Disney references and was good enough. It might be more enjoyable to younger readers.
