Deborah work in the office. When she suddenly goes missing her coworkers are worried and gossip flows.

She is held by a psychopath, someone she knows.

The story switches between POVs and jumps from past to present, to reveal a shocking story.

The story is fascinating, but not a good fit for me. I had a hard time getting into it.

got it on Netgalley, all opinions are my own

I really tried to like this one. The story was flat to me. I did not like the characters at all. Some of their storylines I felt did not even need to be added into the book. I felt myself skimming through just to get to the end.

This book is a story about a woman going missing, sharing how they're being held captive whilst maintaining who is doing this to someone. I love it when authors do this because it keeps the reader engaged as they try to figure it out themselves. There was plenty of characters to suspect and I just had to read more to find out who did it. I was suspecting everyone at least one point! Overall, I did enjoy the story and I loved figuring things out myself however the ending felt rushed as if it had to be wrapped up quickly

I loved how Deborah and Izzie remained strong and kept going and trying to run away even though it kept going wrong! I did have my suspicions about people, literally everyone, but Yvonne being the one was kinda shocking! The story behind yvonne was interesting as it turns out she's darker than she appears to be at work. Everyone did act suspicious at work which made it an interesting read. I'm so glad Deborah and Izzie made it out alive in the end and everyone seemed to be okay!
