In order to kill her rapist and take back control of her sanity, Joy summons a demon (Malachi) but doesn’t expect him to be so charming, human-like…and handsome. After 18 months in the mortal realm, Malachi has never felt an attraction like the one he has for Joy and realizes he doesn’t want to be alone anymore. Their interactions were so cute, especially the safe sex talk scene that had me giggling. The spice was fantastic throughout, but the final pages really had me blushing.

A short fast paced romance that’s emotional but also has some fun elements (aka demon boy….also smut lol) I liked the plot and I felt that the heavy topic of SA was handled very well by the author.
I will say, the smut in this was not my favorite. Some words were just very overly used, and I don’t like how fast it all went by like…..yall locked eyes and are already “gushing”? Lmao
