OM-FVCKING-G, this was fantastic!!! i don’t think i’ve loved a monster/demon romance like this in a minute. the plot?? amazing, engaging, had me wanting to know what was coming next. the relationship?? had me swooooning, had me kicking my feet, I’M IN LOVE WITH THEM. the smut??? had me FOAMING at the mouth. there is just something about a big, tall demon who submits to you and likes to be praised that just revs my engine 🤭😌🤤 i also really loved the Nigerian culture and setting, as i’ve not read a book with it yet.
with all of that being said, this is NOT a book to go blind into. pls pls pls check the cw listed below. they can also be found at the beginning of the book. the sexual assault the fmc faces before the book is an integral part to the plot and is referenced throughout as well as briefly relived on page.

Just don’t think this was the book for me. It was way heavier than I anticipated. Definitely a book you should check out the content warnings for.
I was going to give it a 3ish star because it was fine, but the epilogue really threw me for a loop. And it took me 5-6 weeks to finish. I probably just shouldn’t have picked it back up.
