I bought this book on my kindle when it was on sale and looked somewhat interesting. When I finally read it on a car trip, I was captivated. Cameron definitely irritated me at some points, but I also understood where she was coming from. She had been lied to her entire life and felt as though she couldn’t trust anyone, causing her to question everything. Her grandmother was really irritating to me as well, she had good intentions I guess and wanted to keep Cameron safe, but by only telling her lies about her past and her abilities, she put Cameron in more danger when the time came and groups started searching for her. I LOVE Lewis, although I couldn’t really tell if he was on the good side or the bad side, he was so sweet and caring, he had Cameron’s best interest at heart and would do anything for her. By the end of the first book, I was still confused if Aaron was the good guy, or if S.P.I were the good guys, forcing me to download the next book immediately.

This book is okay. The plot is interesting, but it didn't wow me exactly, and I could have done without reading it at all.
My biggest issue with this book is mainly in the writing. I'm pretty sure the author used the word VAGUELY about 1500 times, and I was getting rather annoyed. Use a thesaurus! I didn't really enjoy Cameron's perspective either. The story was sort of rushed, and relationships just kind of happened. It was along the lines of "Oh I met Aaron. Oh he's like a father to me now, but we've only known each other for 20 minutes."
Some people might really enjoy this book. But frankly, I wouldn't recommend it.

This book started out really obvious and dumb but then got better and then got dumb again.
Spoiler
the ending was a shock I just hated having her hear everything she just said in the beginning again
I'd actually say 4.5. For a free kindle book, it was really good.
3.5/5
An interesting book, even if I wasn't all that happy with the ending. Like many other books I read, I wish Cameron had a little more independence; however, I can say she is one of the stronger young female characters I have encountered. I was very proud of her journey towards the end of the book.
I find myself curious about the sequel and where I hope the story will go, yet I don't know if I will end up buying it. I may just wait and see if I can get a free copy, rather than purchase it.

Re-read, it's so different the 2nd time around.
Wow, I hate Lewis this time around. It went by so quick, next book here I come, it's so nostalgic for me.

I liked this book. I believe it was better than a lot of YA fiction. - Not as good as other. I liked the story and the excitement.
Question? Who decides that it will just be published as an ebook? I can see this being a big hit in a library, but not as an ebook.

So, were there flaws in this book? Absolutely. For starters there were a few spelling errors in here, such as cheek was "check" - little things like that.
I'm not going to be picky, because I downloaded this book for free for my kindle. The concept to the book intrigued me upon reading the summary and once I picked this book up to read I really couldn't put it down. There were some holes yes, but overall the book truly surprised me! It kept you turning the page, giving you just the right amount of information to keep you interested without giving away anything.
I found it very interesting that you aren't sure who the bad guy really is.. and altogether I think the characters for the most part..you could empathize with them. I really did enjoy this book and look forward continuing this trilogy. :}

this was interesting enough to struggle through to the end. She starts out really annoying and toward middle she treats another girl just awful --- almost in the same manner her friends she originally had and hated them for it. she does not try to befriend anyone gets prissy because Olivia is depressed has no empathy towards her about even though the way things keep going...you'd think she would. she is very much one of those girls who view other women as enemies and to think rudely of.
book has two typos from what I saw. feeiing instead of feeling and can't remember the other.
