This story had a great concept and was very gripping and interesting from the start. However, the story did not have enough depth and character development. I felt like I was being told a story not shown a story, I was never really given the chance to fall in love with the characters and be heart broken by the betrayal that was revealed. The whole book Cam was questioning who to believe and yet she never really questioned her decisions she was making. The book was too fast paced had I been given more and told the story slower I could have fallen in love with the idea of Cam and Lewis together and their epic adventure of finding the killer would have helped with that. Instead he was thrown into my lap and forced. Then suddenly Cam was being whisked away and she was in love with Lewis it had been such a fast jump that I, as the reader, never felt any of it. Great story but I feel the execution was so poor and that's very unfortunate. However I will definitely be reading the next book out of curiosity for how the story unfolds.

Really really good book! I really like how this book has you guessing what is really going on the whole time. I did not like the swearing in it. I read a review by the author and her justification of why she used swearing really irritated me. If it wasn't for that I would have given it 5 stars. I really like the story and how well it is all played out
