A 5 in my heart, but 3.5

The reason why I gave it 5 stars it's because I LOVE the two main characters, and they are really cute together, the art was super pretty and the colors they chose work along together.
The reason why it should not be 5 stars, it's because, in my opinion, it should have been separated into two books or have fewer problems to solve. (Don't take me wrong, the story is good and I love the art)
The book talks about transphobia, overprotective parents that are transphobic as well; stress, social pressure, and harassment. BUT, here comes my problem... the book solves almost all these problems magically, and the characters that did something bad don't get real consequences, they just turn out to be good at the end, or the book even forgets it at some point (If you have read it I'm talking about some people of the team).

Yeah, maybe it has some problems that could bother some people, but even tho. If you just focus on the good part, the story is really cute.

I am crying rainbows and can’t wait to force all my friends to read it. :) I hope there’s a volume two where Bebe doesn’t have to deal with transphobia *at all*. My favorite part of the art was Bebe’s HAIR! This is a light and airy graphic novel that briefly glances over transphobia, helicopter parents, and assholes who refuse to listen when a woman is speaking. Is it August yet?

Another fantastic graphic novel checked off the list! I really enjoyed watching both Annie & Bebe come into their own here. Their cheer squad is so supportive and everyone is open to learning how to be better. The relationship between these two is also super sweet. I also really enjoyed the art as well!
