This was almost a 5 star, but the climax wasn’t really my favorite. I was hoping for a different conclusion. Despite that it was a fast, easy read if sometimes being a bit repetitive with the shifting POVs giving you the same bits of information. I saw all the twists coming, but they were well written and well laid along the way.

4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best season to read: Any
Risk of crying: Low 0/5
Review: I really enjoyed this story! It was a great read, quick and engaging. I loved how full the characters were and felt immersed in the story. The various moments of suspense had me on the edge of my seat. This is a slow burn thriller with a big quick end, but they did a great job at keeping interest throughout and including some red herrings. 4 gold stars for the golden couple from me!

The golden couple was one of the best books I’ve read in a while. It starts out with a a couple (Marissa & Matthew) starting a session at a therapists office (Avery) where the wife confessed she slept with someone else, but she wants to fix their family, focus on each other, and on their son (Benett). Avery uses her ten step process she developed as an ex therapist to work with them.
boring throughout but then all of a sudden the last 3 chapters were like ?? stressful and almost exciting
story of lost-licensed therapist turned life consultant, and her 10 step program that clients must follow or else be dropped lol
I wasn’t expecting a mystery when I picked this up, granted I didn’t know much about it before reading.
