This is really a 4.5 for me. Such a great thriller. I don’t want to give anything away so I will be vague. The protagonist is a great intriguing character. I think it could be an awesome book series. A few cliches but I was so invested in the story.
I loved this book. I thought the premise was really interesting, and I didn't realize the "twist" until the character did. I always like that. Then when I looked back, I could see the clues about the twist. I felt like I didn't know what was really going on until the very end. I assume it was probably a bit unrealistic, but I actually don't mind books that are a bit unrealistic. I listened to this in audiobook format during my commute to and from work and it kept me completely enthralled and not even minding the rush hour traffic.

Honestly, I was really excited to read this book. However, I did find parts of it to be a bit boring. I did enjoy the huge plot twist towards the end which did bring about some excitement to this book. Overall, it was a decent read.
My heart is still racing. Reading this book felt like frantically running up a slippery, snowy slope, knowing that once you got to the top you would have clarity, only to realize there was never another side to the hill as you freefall gasping for air. I felt so much tension and anxiety - I HAD to know what was going to happen. I read with my students for the first 10 minutes of class, and had students ask me if I was okay today as I was apparently breathing strangely.
Interesting story! Love how the therapist was a tough, detective type in the role of "therapist." Good twist, I definitely couldn't decide whose POV was correct and who would be revealed as the baddie in the end.

This book is unbelievably boring!!! I am/was just about 6 hours into the the book with about 5 hours left and had absolutely no care or concern what would happen with any of these characters or find out what the big twist is!! Almost 6 hours in and nothing interesting happened, no small twists, just a bunch of gibberish about nothing of any real importance! I did not want to waste another 5 hours of my time!! DNF!!!
