Didn't love the writing, but I can normally guess the ending of these types of books and I was wrong, so I'll give them that.
Eh. There were still a few rowboats I didn’t see coming, but overall was a bit underwhelmed with this story. I think I was hoping for a story of the therapist closely being more like The Silent Patient or have a more dramatic plot twist. Both the main women, Avery and Marissa did seem annoying to me, but that could have also been swayed since I listed to this as an audio book.
Really fun! Loved the pacing, the amount of suspense, the two perspectives and the plethora of strange occurrences that kept me wanting to know what would happen next.

This book was very captivating and I finished the second half of the book super quickly. I liked the plot but did think there were a lot of characters to keep track of and it felt a little excessive at times. All in all it was a quick read that kept my attention and interest very well!
