This was a decent thriller. Dual perspectives which is amazing especially with the different plot lines running through the story it was needed.

This book had me on edge… I literally felt caught up as if I were in the book. I caught the twist right before it was revealed and I thought it was pretty good.

oh mannnnn did i enjoy this book. i loved the dual narration, especially when the same scene was written from different perspectives. i’m always impressed by characters being developed without over-explaining every detail and these authors definitely accomplished that. the build up made this a really fun read, but the twist and suspense surrounding it really made this a 5-star read for me!

This book is one of the better contemporary “thrillers” out there. The writing style wasn’t lame, and the plot points weren’t toooooo far-fetched. But it wasn’t amazing or awesome. It was an easy read, so if you are looking for something quick, it’ll do the trick.
Couple goes to therapy. Therapist is a bit unconventional. Additional characters are sprinkled in to make the reader wonder if they are the real bad guy. A few unrealistic events unfold and everything wraps up nicely.

It was okay - easy to finish in less than a week. There were just too many side plots to keep track of. One about big pharma that really felt out of place once the book was done

Hendricks and Pekkanen are my go-to authors for psychological thrillers, and I was excited for this one. But out of all the ones they've written, this book is probably my least fav because it was so chock-full of subplots and side characters that didn't add much to the plot (in my opinion).

I loved "An Anonymous Girl" because it felt streamlined and focused. "The Golden Couple" has the same feel as the others - sophisticated, polished, and somewhat precise - but lacked focus. Too much of a good thing (character details and subplots) can be too much sometimes I think.

this was a fun Prime Reading find and solidified my status as a Greer Hendricks fan -- between a 4 & a 5 on this one, a mildly predictable end result but with enough red herrings to keep you guessing, enjoyable plot, pacing and characters (@ Goodreads pls implement 1/2 stars)
