This story carries such depth! I loved the exploration of how the main character set out to define themselves, often against the odds of others trying to define their identity for them.
Uno llega a removerse en la butaca ante las injusticias de la vida que tocó vivir a Alice Hart, pero también ante su propia inacción o la incomprensión de los actos que se suceden a su alrededor. Es esta una historia bien hilada, de principio a fin. Uno de esos textos cuyas piezas van cayendo cada una en su momento y lugar mientras tú asistes a una perfecta sinfonía de amor y desamor, de ferocidad y delicadeza, de sencillez y complicación. Pero al final el puzle funciona, es de una belleza casi perfecta. Ese mundo floral, ese contraste de mundos australianos, y ese mundo interior... Todo encaja. Lo disfruté mucho.

Good book. It was nice seeing where Alice was going and allowing herself to reflect on her life at different points! There were some rough parts of her life that were super well written and could be triggering for some who have gone through domestic abuse! But it was a great book overall.
