I feel like this book is the “adult version” of The Little Prince, and being a huge lover of that book I absolutely adore this one! I find the characters comforting and Richard Bachs way of writing is amazing!

When I read this back in college, I thought it was profound. I liked it so much more than Johnathan Livingston, Seagull. As I have gained life experience, it now seems trite and cliché. Have I become jaded, or did Bach make the thoughts in this book so much a part of our modern psyche that they no longer seem original?
