This book had a slow start, but honestly the pacing and tone were refreshing to me. Nothing felt too urgent, nothing felt too stressful. It’s the type of book you can happily read a few chapters of a night before going to bed.

Alice is about to celebrate her 40th birthday when she goes back in time to her the day of her 16th—a novel about the choices we make and the love between a father and daughter. A lovely, heartwarming read. THe resolution was both realistic and satisfying.

I love how the author references all the time traveling pop culture movies and books as the female MC is trying to understand what's happening, her devotion to "saving" her father, and everything that unfolds as she tries to understand what needs to happen for her traveling to stop. The relationships between the MC and her father and the MC and her best friend were lovely threads throughout. Bits of the story felt like it dragged and I ended up reading a bit faster to get through these parts.
