This book reads like a 2000's film. I loved every second of it, like I love all those movies, despite its predictability and little clichés. So, I highly recommend it, especially as a summer read.

Extraordinary. A beautiful story about a father-daughter relationship and how the choices we make shape our lives and also how they don’t.

I couldn’t decide between 3 and 4 - but really enjoyed reading it so went with the 4. Not life changing but a fun read.

i don’t feel very strongly about this book! it was nothing special and i felt like the plot moved pretty slowly but i did like the writing style which made it easy to get through the book. i don’t think id go out of my way to recommend this one though! although it has a couple good life perspectives through metaphors, the book itself was just meh

I wanted to keep reading this and didn’t think about not finishing it, but almost all aspects of this novel bothered me except for the friendship between Sam and Alice which I mostly found endearing. If there is a lesson it felt too obvious for an adult book.
