Loved this book, great story telling, a strong female lead and some hot guys, a great read all round. Bring on the next one.

this book was a huge cringe fest but i actually did somewhat enjoy it.
first half of the book was mostly spent on world building which was both interesting and super annoying because we got only crumbs of interactions between the main characters.
the relationship development between asher and maddi felt rushed which is another problem i had.
hopefully i won’t be disappointed by the sequel whenever i do read it.

I did enjoy reading this. I loved the setting of a supernatural academy and reading about Fae, vampires, shifters
And I loved how it evolved Atlantis and the Atlanteans, it was so cool to see how it was interpreted in this book.
I loved how the settings, specifically the Academy was described I felt like I could see it all so clearly.
I think I felt like everything happened really fast. Like Maddison just was fine after an hour being introduced to the supernatural world. I felt like things were happening so fast. Asher was nice, I don't think he is my favourite guy out of them all though honestly and I usually love the main guy character.
I loved all 5 of the boys, the friendship that was formed was so pure with Maddison especially after certain events.
The girls were feirce and protective and girl bosses that just lifted there friends up with confidence and I loved that.
I didn't care for the superficial mean girls, just get rid of them in books. We don't need them anymore. It's not like that in real life, so just no more haha
Overall fun book, and although I enjoyed this I'm not to sure if I'll continue this series. I just didn't get this I need to read the next book immediately. So I think that's a sign. But I did still enjoy this book. And finished it all in the same day before work, between work and home after work. So it wasn't like I struggled to read. Just not amazing like I wished.

This was super enjoyable. Thought it was a RH at the starts so not gonna lie I’m a bit bummed about that whole thing but here we are. Definitely some insta love going on but my assumption is that they are soul mates / mates and that’s why they have such a strong connection and as Maddie’s power increases after the block was removed they will notice it more. I love Maddie’s girl squad they are all so cute together I’m glad she found friends at the school. Also glad that the mean girls are gone, they were super annoying. the plot is interesting and I’m looking forward to what comes next.

I decided to read this after being in-love with the tv series. I’ve never been more mislead in my life lol. Did they just really like the name so they bought the rights or something?
Anywho, I decided to stick with it even after realizing it wasn’t what I was expecting in hopes I’d still enjoy it but honestly the writing was so lazy and juvenile despite the characters being mid-late 20s.
The constant cursing and calling everyone hot, the dialogue….. it was something that’s all I can say.
