So happy to have started the year with Briggs!

This is the second book in the Totally Pucked series but can be read as a stand alone. This story follows Briggs, an NHL player who is known as a “bad boy” and had a rough couple of years. He’s constantly getting into trouble and the media has not been nice to him. After needing a break, he goes to an inn for some time off where he meets Maddison. What was suppose to be an one night stand, leads to a baby. But unfortunately Maddison has a big secret she’s keeping from Briggs.

Briggs is by far the sweetest guy ever, he truly deserves the world. This man has the biggest heart. He really set the bar high for all the book boyfriends to come this year! This book would’ve been an easy 5 stars for me but because I knew what the plot twist was, waiting for it to come up gave me so much anxiety leading up to it. I was a little iffy on Maddison, but there one line specifically towards the end that changed everything I thought about her. I was really proud of the person she became in the end! One thing that I absolutely love about this book and this series are the friendships in it. I’m a sucker for reading about a good friend group! Graham was such a key side character in this and I can’t wait for his book! I already know without a doubt he’s most likely going to be my favorite out of all these guys.

Thank you so much to Maren Moore and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for this arc!

I loved this book. Madison and Briggs are a great couple. Lots of character development and really great side characters too. Very predictable but that's what I love about romance books. Also while this is a hockey romance and the MMC is a hockey player the book takes place in the off season so hockey isn't really mentioned or a focus. In case you go into it thinking it's hockey centric. Maren Moore is fast becoming a favourite author.

Absolutely loved this book.
It’s truly amazing how Maren is able to make me love each book/hero more than the last.

I had so much hope for this book, I love a good hockey romance. This book had so much potential. But it was honestly just boring…

The baby was cute but everything else was OTT and predictable.

I have been anticipating Briggs book for awhile and the wait was so worthy it because this story is LEGIT PERFECTION. This book follows Briggs the “troubled” guy and Madison, they had a one night stand which turns into so much more. I loved every single second of it Briggs is such a softie with his girls my heart was melting. Madison is an incredible mom and I love her character. Seeing Briggs finally find happiness and love, all the dedication he put towards his girls, he’s the definition of the perfect man. The hockey team had me laughing so much i love the found family in this series, getting to know the other guys just made me anticipate the rest of the series even more. I’m definitely a Briggs girl he won my heart from the first few chapters and this is definitely my favorite Maren book!

This book ain’t it for me gals….
